Hello, World!
I am a finishing up my degree at Georgia Tech as a student for a Master of Science in Computer Science. I plan on graduating at the end of the Spring 2024 semester. I completed my undergraduate studies at UCLA in December of 2021, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a specialization in Computing and a minor in Digital Humanities. Due to my interdisciplinary studies, I love to observe and research the intersection between the social sciences, humanities, and technology. While completing my graduate studies, I do gigs for film and TV productions in Hollywood and NYC as an actor, extra, photo double, and more. As of March 2022, I am eligible to join the Screen Actors Guild. Previously, I interned at Ford Motors as a Software Engineer intern and worked on Cybersecurity for the UCLA Information Services - Desktop Support team. My plan for the future is to work in the technology sector, bringing effective solutions to all problems - from macro to micro.
I am a naturalized immigrant to the United States, having been born in South Korea. Growing up in Southern California and continuing my education here, I feel very privileged for the opportunity to have an amazing community and infrastructure around me. Not to forget the great weather. I always try to pass it forward, having received the Presidential Volunteer Service Award for my volunteer work at the SFV Korean Senior Citizen Association and Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital. Previously, I tutored K-12 children in math at the non-profit Opportunities for Learning in Valencia and was a Web Dev Intern at the Center for the Study of Political Graphics. Throughout the first couple years of the COVID-19 pandemic, I contributed to Los Angeles' A+D Museum as a Digital Volunteer, adding my input to the dialogue of architecture and design.
My hobbies and interests are playing the guitar, following Formula One, traveling the world, playing tennis, discussing architecture, and following Liverpool FCYNWA.
